Inspired by artists who created well-crafted paintings, Santoli greatly admired the work of Johannes Vermeer, Diego Velázquez, William Bouguereau, Claude Monet, John Singer Sargent, Joaquín Sorolla, Cecilia Beaux, and Norman Rockwell to name a few. Eric lived as Artist-in-Residence at Claude Monet's house and gardens in Giverny, France from May until August of 2023. Permanent Bright Red - Broadening the range of more bluish reds and violets, our Permanent Bright Red is a very bright lightfast, and intense warm modern Pyrrole. Ideal primary red for clean mixtures. Ruby Violet - Extra rich modern Quinacridone pigment, Ruby Violet mixes cleanly to enrich color adding both coolness and depth to mixtures. Ideal for landscape or floral subject matter. Burnt Sienna - Rich intense Natural Brown Earth that's medium deep with fiery undertones. True earth color for creating believable flesh tones or complementing with blues for classic dark neutrals. Ultramarine Blue - Indispensable warm primary, this 19th century invention will make violets with any cool red and is ideal for creating dark neutrals with brown earths. Gorgeous, richly pigmented. Cobalt Blue - Genuine and pure richly pigmented Cobalt mixing gentle cool tones. Amazing sky color. Basic Green - Less intense Phthalo, our semi-transparent Basic Green is cool mixing for soft and natural green mixtures with any yellow.
