Kitchen Garden

Kitchen Garden combines hand-dyed linen and cotton in warm madder pinks and soft salmon tones with gentle greens from indigo and osage. Vintage floral feed-sack prints appear throughout the grid, introducing small moments of pattern and history. The quilt is inspired by the small garden plot just outside a kitchen door — a modest space planted with herbs and whatever else happens to grow there. The patchwork grid echoes that kind of garden: simple, practical, and full of small variations. One-of-a-kind textile artwork, pieced and quilted by hand and machine.
