Lemon Balm herbal capsules are traditionally used in herbal medicine: As a sleep aid In cases of restlessness due to mental stress To help relieve digestive disturbances such as dyspepsia. St. Francis uses certified organic Lemon Balm in our VegiCaps. Label information Medicinal Ingredients (per 250 mg capsule): A 5:1 concentration, each capsule contains the equivalent of 1250 mg of dried Certified Organic Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis, herb top) (alcohol free) Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypromellose (vegicap) Magnesium stearate CONTAINS NO: dairy, egg, wheat, soy, artificial preservatives, artificial colours, artificial sweeteners Dosage: Adults & adolescents 13 & over: Take 1 capsule 2-3 times daily on an empty stomach. When used as a sleep aid, full daily dose can be taken at bedtime. Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia) or if symptoms worsen or persist.
