Care & Burn Tips For best use: Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling. Trim wick to 1/4" before lighting. Keep the candle free from foreign objects and wick trimmings. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Ensure an even pool of melted wax before extinguishing the flame. Stop use when only 1/4" of wax remains. Burn only on a level, fire-resistant surface. Just like traditional fires, wooden wicks may require several attempts to light before the flame takes hold.
