Vintage 20s 30s Cloche Hat Deadstock Brimmed Fine Straw Huntoon VFG

This sweet and sporty vintage hat dates to the late 1920s / early 1930s. Amazingly, it still has its original price tag pinned to the inner sweatband - originally priced at $5 (In today's dollars, $97), marked down to $2.25. The hat is a modified cloche, designed to sit fairly low on the head. The narrow brim is positioned at a jaunty angle, a little higher on the wearer's left. A thin grosgrain ribbon serves as hatband, anchored in back by a large flat self-straw bow. TAGS: Huntoon Creation, French Model CONDITION: Excellent. I have hand stitched a few inches of the inner ribbon headband back in place. No other issues noted - no stains, holes or tears.
