Towering above the ancient city of Sparta, Mt. Taygetus is the highest peak on the Peloponnesus and the source of our superlative Greek Fir honey. Famous for wild herbs, the mountain is also densely forested with the native Greek Fir tree. It is one of few places in the world where bees produce honey from Fir trees. A true delicacy, it has a beautiful amber color, resinous with complex flavors of candied pistachio, sassafras and roasted chestnuts. _____________________________________________________________ Klio Greek honey is designated single-origin.
