The battery mounted distribution block mounts to the top of your battery and gives you a convenient package to wire all your accessories like lights, winches, or even audio power. Why use the battery mounted distribution block? Keep that under hood clean and tidy with all your connections in one location. Things to keep in mind. The Battery mounted distribution block does require at least 2" of space between the top of the battery and the bottom of your hood. A quick way to check is doing much like a piston to valve clearance check and using clay/play-dough. Stack the clay at the top of your battery 2" high, if there is an imprint from your hood in the 2" tall clay when you close it, then this kit wont work for you. For use with winches or other high loads we recommend the 600a version Battery Clamp Style How is your battery held down?
