Vintage 70s Modernist Necklace Green & Red Enameled Sterling Silver Pendant

Swirled enameled colors of emerald and pale green, bright red, black, and hints of yellow, are featured on this vintage sterling silver pendant, suspended from a sterling silver handwrought novelty chain, circa 1970s. The vivid oval shaped artisan made pendant, is glazed in a free form pattern and bezel set onto a sterling silver frame. It measures approximately 1&1/2 inches in length, and also features an open V shaped bail – while the chain itself measures approximately 26 inches in length, and has a J hook closure (with partial stamp) as shown. The back of the pendant is marked “925” and the necklace in its entirety weighs 21.8 grams.
