Epiphone Valve Junior Combo | Handwired Octal 5F1 Champ Conversion

Here is a fantastic sounding Epiphone Valve Junior Combo from early in the production. This amplifier has been converted to a Fender 5F1 Champ circuit with the 12AX7 substituted with a 6SL7GT (vintage pull) and a JJ 6V6S for the power tube. Top quality components used whenever possible: CTS Potentiometer Switchcraft Jacks MOD Electrolytic Capacitors Mallory 150 Capacitors Heavy Duty 1/8" G10 Turret Board This amplifier is dead quiet with out any unwanted noise - no hum, no buzz, no hiss. Sounds great even through the stock speaker. Sounds fantastic through a 12" speaker. Very good condition over all but does have some tears and snags on the exterior tolex and is missing one of the screws for the back panel and a dress washer for the back panel. Tremendous value for the money.
