The incomparable Soad Hosny stars as Amal, a woman who kills her abusive stepfather in self defense and flees to find freedom from a justice system that would only punish her. She is given refuge by artist Ahmed (Yehia Chahine), who falls in love with her. However, his apprentice Sherif (Hassan Youssef) is also in love with her, and they compete to win her favor. Amal is center stage in this provocative poster from respected artist Abdelaziz, depicted in a scene from the film in which she poses for Sherif. Her worried expression tells that she knows their love triangle is becoming more and more unmanageable.
