REGION Swan Valley VARIETALS Verdelho TECHNICAL DATA Alcohol: 20% WINEMAKING NOTES Sourced from 100% Swan Valley fruit, these wines have been crafted from a Solera dating back to 1976. Each wine sits in the “Rare” classification as they are approximately 35 years average age. Blended using a Solera system to retain freshness and fruit expression of the wines. Held in seasoned casks, the key is to retain the natural vibrancy of the wine whilst aging gracefully. TASTING NOTES This rare fortified was crafted from the original grapevines that were planted in the Swan Valley in the 1930s and blended with Verdelho that has been maturing in solera casks that date back to the 1970s. The result is an intense burst of rum and raisin fruit, Christmas cake, toffee and treacle on the palate. The flavors weave harmoniously into an intoxicatingly sweet and luscious mouthfeel.
