1.7ct Prasiolite Solitaire, Sterling Silver, size N or just over 6.5, 2.1g

The palest minty green freshness - like the colour of dew. This gorgeous pale green amethyst (known often as prasiloite) and is formed by heating iron rich purple amethyst (not all amethyst will form prasiolite - that trace iron is crucial). Set in silver this is a crisp and subtle colour combination - and the reflections of green through early morning dew is such a great colour and sparkle comparison for this. The round of the stone is fabulously matched by the angular claws and V basket designs and we love the 8mm size on the hand.
