Block Printed Khadi Saree - Metropolitan

Description: This hand-block printed khadi saree with a print from Sanganer begins with 100 x 56 count handspun yarn and handweaving in rural North Karnataka. It then travels to Sanganer, where vintage wooden blocks and pigment dyes give the fabric its printed character. Three processes, each requiring its own time and attention, come together in a saree that remains easy to wear. Medium-weight, versatile, and comfortable without looking casual, it is a piece you can wear your way and return to season after season. Detail: Old-world motifs meet contemporary geometry in an easy interplay of spontaneity and structure. A 3-inch striped border frames the saree, while five-coloured buttas, each measuring 7.5 inches, are thoughtfully placed on the body. A twin-coloured, stripe-lined pallu completes the design, all set against the subtle variations of space-dyed yarn khadi fabric. Colour: Metropolitan grey saree with black, red, mauve, mustard, and dull green block prints. Size & Weight: 5.50 meters long and 47 inches wide. It does not include a blouse piece. This saree weighs 800 grams. Care: Hand wash at home in cold water with mild detergent, and dry in the shade. Note: Our sarees are pre-washed, so there's no colour bleeding or shrinkage.
