Intrepid Geo 3.0 Tent + Mount Bundle

Three adults in a two-person tent is one adult sleeping badly and two pretending they are not. The usual fix is a second tent, on the ground, in the rain, at eleven at night. The Geo 3.0 is 61 inches wide inside. You and two more, all over six foot, lie down flat side by side on the roof. It is the same shell as the 3.0 Pro. Same 88.5 by 63 inch footprint, same 187 pounds, same honeycomb aluminium and 300d ripstop, same sixty seconds to open, same three-year warranty. What it leaves out is the diesel heater port and the rear awning. If you do not camp in the cold or cook in the rain, that is $500 you keep. At 187 pounds it wants quick-release mounts, and four of them come free here. Six sets of mounting brackets ship with the tent, so you take it off when the season ends instead of leaving it up there until spring. Freight is $350 to the lower 48, which is Intrepid's own rate with nothing added to it.
