Penderyn NINE Ian Rush 9 Year Old Single Malt Welsh Whisky Penderyn NINE is a nine-year-old Welsh single malt created in partnership with Welsh football legend Ian Rush. The whisky is fully matured before receiving a Tawny Port cask finish, bringing rich dried fruit, caramel and gentle spice to Penderyn's elegant spirit. The nose is rich and inviting, with ripe red berries, raisins and dried fruits alongside delicate vanilla and gentle oak spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, bringing rich fruit, caramel and figs together with warming spices. The finish is long and warming, with lingering dried fruit, oak and a gentle dryness from the Tawny Port influence. Bottled at 43% ABV, NINE is non-chill filtered and contains no added colouring.
