Give your finished painting an extra-glossy surface Choose Liquitex High Gloss Varnish when you want a highly reflective finish. This clear top coat protects dried acrylic paint and gives your artwork a polished appearance. High-gloss finish: Creates stronger surface reflections than regular gloss. Protective coating: Helps your finished work resist dirt and handling. Clear when dry: Forms a permanent layer over your painting. How to use Wait until the paint is completely dry - 72 hours to 2 weeks, depending on its thickness. Stir gently. Do not shake or dilute. Brush on up to 3 thin coats, leaving at least 24 hours between coats. Avoid going back over areas that have started drying. For glow projects: High gloss describes the surface finish, not stronger glow. Test over a small area of dried glow acrylic paint before coating the whole piece. The coating cannot be removed.
