Out of the Blue - Original Painting *

Oil on canvas, 14 x 11 x 1.5 inches, 2026 · Vertical Rhythms collection Pours of turquoise, seafoam, and deep teal descend the canvas in tight parallel runs, splitting and rerouting wherever they meet the palette-knifed ridges built into the surface beneath. Threads of tangerine surface through the cool field without warning, and the sides of the canvas are painted that same bright orange — a flash you catch only when you move past it. Built pour by pour over many weeks, the piece reads as a shimmering curtain of water from across the room and resolves into hundreds of individual rivulets up close. Small in scale, but it holds a wall. Wired and ready to hang.
