Kenova Pumpkin House
Beginning in 1978, former mayor of Kenova, WV, Ric Griffith adorned his historic home along the Ohio River with pumpkins. Each pumpkin was meant to represent a Kenovan, and what began as five pumpkins, has grown to a staggering 3,000 pumpkins-- one for each resident of Kenova. Each year, volunteers gather to get the pumpkins ready to welcome tourists from all over West Virginia and beyond! This design celebrates the ingenuity and hard work that goes into this incredibly unique Fall attraction.
