Value
Value, 2026 Cyanotype print on archival paper In Value, an abundant bouquet of grevilleas is bound with ribbons repeating the word Remunerative meaning 'yielding payment or profit'. Behind the beauty, the work points to systems that receive resources to intervene in, manage and contain Blak children. Value asks where value sits within these systems: what is the difference between valuing a child and making that child valuable to an institution, economy or state?
