Guy de Chassey Grand Cru Brut NV, Champagne, 75cl

Champagne Guy de Chassey is a small, family run grower based in Louvois, a Grand Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. Now managed by the sixth and seventh generations of the family, the estate specialises in traditionally made, Pinot Noir-led Champagnes. The Grand Cru Brut NV is a blend of predominantly Pinot Noir with Chardonnay, aged for at least four years in the estate's chalk cellars. Fresh citrus and orchard fruit are complemented by subtle toasted brioche notes, with fine bubbles, good depth and a crisp, balanced finish. A classic, well made Grand Cru Champagne offering excellent value.
