2019 Austin City Limits Music Festival Poster - Austin, TX

I always jump at the chance to do art for something Austin specific and this was no exception. I wanted to tie ACL, a summery celebration of music and art, with the summer solstice festivals of old that celebrated fertility and abundance, all while working in many Austin references, like Barton Springs and GRACKLES! The 36 x 24 inch screen printed version was printed on holographic foil and it gave the grackles a shimmering iridescence, like how their feathers look in real life 2019
