The project explores how the mimicry and borrowing of sounds, gestures, and expressions from our surrounding environment—and their subsequent reconfiguration—shape and inform our own forms of expression. Through ongoing research into improvisation, repetition, and transformation, Three Thousand Songs investigates the blurred boundaries between imitation and originality, questioning conventional notions of authorship and the idea of a singular origin.
