BROADWAY DISCOVERY SET

Somewhere between the flower shop and Fleet Street, this became a much stranger trip than I’d planned. I’ve been keeping notes: rain on white oak, honeycomb, a suspiciously vigorous tomato vine. There are delicate florals here, but also absinthe, worn leather, and incense drifting from somewhere beneath the opera house. The Broadway Discovery Set gathers these encounters into one collection. Orpheus and Eurydice, Audrey II, the Phantom and Christine, Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett, Elphaba and Glinda. Nine very different personalities to spend some time with. I’d suggest starting wherever your curiosity takes you.
