Lavender tide seascape | 30 cm

Lavender Tide is an original resin seascape capturing the movement and changing colours of the sea around Shetland. Layers of turquoise, deep violet and smoky grey flow through the piece, while sweeping white waves break across the surface with wonderful texture and movement. Soft lavender tones around the edges give the seascape an almost dreamlike quality, contrasting with the darker depths beneath the waves. Tiny details within the resin resemble sea spray and bubbles, adding to the feeling of looking into a wild, moving sea. Handmade in Shetland by Sarah Kay Arts, every resin seascape is completely unique, with the resin creating patterns and movement that can never be repeated.
