Hale Pet Door In-Glass Model | Dog Door for Glass

Description: Hale Pet Door In-Glass Model — Dog & Cat Door for Glass Want a pet door without cutting into your door or wall? The Hale Pet Door In-Glass Model is built directly into a new pane of glass by your glass professional, giving your dog or cat a clean, factory-finished doorway through your glass door or window. No panels, no inserts, no drafts around a sash — just a premium Hale pet door integrated into the glass itself, made in the USA and backed by a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. Single Pane and Double Pane Options Double Pane: The In-Glass Model fits double pane glass up to 2" thick, with your choice of a single flap or a double flap for maximum insulation and weather protection. Double pane models include Hale's pinlock security feature. Single Pane: For single pane glass from 1/8" to 3/16" thick, the In-Glass Model is built with a single flap. (Single pane glass over 3/16" thick is treated as double pane.) Professional Installation Into New Glass Because door glass must be tempered for safety — and tempered glass cannot be cut — your glass professional fabricates a new glass unit with the pet door opening, tempers it, and installs the Hale In-Glass pet door into it. Always check your pet door's rough opening dimensions in the chart below before ordering glass. The result is the most seamless pet door installation available: the extruded aluminum Hale frame sits in the glass with the same magnetic-seal, weather-stripped flap design Hale is known for. 11 Sizes for Cats and Dogs of Every Breed From Small Medium for cats and toy breeds to Giant for Great Danes and Mastiffs, there is an In-Glass Hale for your pet. Choose your frame color — White, Arizona Beige, Brushed Aluminum or Black — to match your door. No — door glass is tempered for safety and tempered glass cannot be cut. Your glass professional will fabricate a new glass unit with the correct rough opening, temper it, and install the Hale In-Glass pet door into it. What is the difference between the flap options? Double pane glass (up to 2" thick) can be built with a single flap or a double flap; the double flap gives the best insulation. Single pane glass (1/8" to 3/16" thick) is built with a single flap only. Does the In-Glass Model lock? Double pane In-Glass models include Hale's pinlock security feature. Single pane models do not include the pinlock. What do I need to check before ordering glass? Confirm your size's rough opening dimensions in the Hale size chart above and give them to your glass professional before the new glass unit is fabricated. What size should I order? Measure your pet's shoulder height and width, then match them to the Hale size chart above. The flap opening should be at least as tall as your pet's shoulders. Is there a warranty? Yes, every Hale pet door carries a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. Shipping Hale Pet Doors are built to order in the USA and ship from Colorado via FedEx Ground. Please allow 5-7 business days for your door to be built and assembled before it ships; screen models also need additional dry time, so same-day shipping may not be available. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information.
