6.5" Sabi Kairagi Plate

Story For three generations, the Japanese Kiln Collective has created tableware rooted in Japan’s centuries-old ceramic traditions. Working closely with skilled craftspeople and kilns across Japan, the collective brings together family knowledge, regional techniques, and a thoughtful approach to contemporary dining. Across four distinct series—Hajima, Sabi Kairagi, Kasumi, and Genbu—each piece offers its own expression of material, texture, and finish. Subtle variations in colour and surface reveal traces of the making process, shaped by clay, fire, and human touch. Designed to complement rather than compete with what they hold, these vessels create a quiet stage for food, gathering, and everyday ritual.
