The 12-hectare estate was planted in 1968 and has been farmed organically since 2008, producing a limited-production wine with impressive depth, structure and elegance. The 2021 vintage shows an enticing combination of ripe black and red fruit, blackberry, plum and cassis, layered with black pepper, sweet spice, cocoa, tobacco and beautifully integrated oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful but polished, with a lush, silky texture, mature tannins and a long, persistent finish. The wine is aged for at least 12 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by a minimum of two years of bottle aging before release.
