Coco Berry The Experiment: Raul Lanuza has been working on a hybrid wrapper we call Rosé. Rosé is red, and it is sun grown, baby. The Leaf: It gets all the nutrients and all the intensity of the Nicaraguan sun, but when those leaves get just a little shade from the top of the plant, something magical happens. Just look at this wrapper. Then wait until you taste it. It is like candy. The Blend: We did not stop at the wrapper. The binder and fillers are also Nicaraguan, grown from the same strain of seed we use for Rosé. Raul took tobacco from different parts of the plant, grown in different areas of Nicaragua, and brought them together to create something completely unique. The Payoff: You are going to notice things you do not normally notice in cigars. Fruit, candy, sugar and sweetness, to say the least.
