It is very helpful if you can “see” the pattern and “recognize” your mistakes. This is striking pattern packs a big wow. Using a double slotted oak wooden base, we will first weave a simple inner basket using 3/8 flat reed. This becomes the mold for the outer basket. Dyed stakes will be inserted on the outside and the basket is continuously woven with 4 mm Hamburg cane. There are two patterns going on in this basket. Can you see them? Tools needed: Bring usual basket tools including angle cutters, small and larger packing tools, towel, small and large clips, cutting board, scraper, electrical ties, spray bottle and any other tools you generally use.
