Scatterbox Cushion Aven Charcoal / Champagne

The Scatterbox Cushion Aven Charcoal / Champagne is a scatter cushion carrying an abstract leaf design in charcoal, lifted with a fine champagne metallic thread. It has a knife-edge finish rather than a piped one, and it is made in a single size.Metallic Thread Through a Painted GroundThe leaf shapes are laid down in soft, brushed tones rather than hard outlines, so the design reads as painted rather than printed. Running through it is a fine metallic thread that picks up light only at certain angles, which is what gives the face its depth: from the doorway it is a quiet charcoal, from the seat it has champagne running through it. Because the metallic is woven in rather than applied on top, it does not rub away along the fold.Pairing It With the Matching CurtainAven is made as a soft furnishings pairing rather than a standalone, and there is a matching curtain in the same design, so the cushion can either repeat what is at the window or stand against a plain one. The knife edge keeps the silhouette flat and tailored, which suits a seat that already has piping elsewhere. A feather pad sits inside, so the corners stay full and a plump by hand puts the shape back. Charcoal is the easier half of this pairing to place: it reads as a dark neutral against oatmeal, grey or oak, and the champagne only declares itself at close range. That makes it a face that can sit in a restrained room without changing its temperature, and it is why a single one is usually enough on a two-seat.Key Features: Woven face with a plain reverse Feather pad filling, included Designed in Ireland by Scatter Box Product Details: Product Type: Scatter Cushion Material: A woven face with metallic thread Colour: Charcoal / Champagne Finish: Removable cover with a feather pad What's Included: Cushion cover with the pad Brand: Scatterbox Delivery:Nationwide delivery is available throughout Ireland.Shop The Full Cushions CollectionFor further information, please call our fabrics department by clicking here.
