Springtime Over Boodja – Triptych

Djilba arrives with a beautiful mix of weather, bringing cool mornings, gentle rain and the warmth of sunshine returning to Noongar Country. It is a time when the land begins to awaken and bursts of colour appear across the bush. In this artwork, the flowing paths represent Country coming alive, while the bright flowers and layers of colour celebrate the beauty and abundance of Djilba. Each flower is a reminder of the new growth that surrounds Country. Djilba is a time to walk Country, notice the wildflowers blooming, hear the birds returning and feel the joy that comes with seeing the land renewed.
