DeadOn: USB-C Rechargeable Clip-On Tuner for Guitar & Bass
What makes DeadOn different from other clip-on tuners? DeadOn combines ±0.5-cent accuracy, a bright color TFT display, USB-C recharging, and a compact 0.63 oz / 18g body, so you get precise tuning without a bulky tuner or disposable coin batteries. Choose dedicated Guitar, Bass, Violin or Ukulele modes, or switch to Chromatic mode for alternate tunings. The adjustable clip and screen make it easy to position the display where you can see it clearly. Can I read DeadOn clearly while tuning? Yes. The bright color TFT display keeps the detected note, string number, and tuning status together in one clear view. Clip DeadOn where it is comfortable to see, pluck a string, and the screen immediately shows whether you are flat, sharp, or in tune. The adjustable display lets you position it for an easy viewing angle on different instruments. Your browser does not support embedded video. Will DeadOn work with my instrument and tuning? Yes. DeadOn includes dedicated Guitar, Bass, Violin and Ukulele modes, plus Chromatic mode for alternate tunings and other compatible pitched instruments. Tap the Power/Mode button to cycle through all five tuning modes. The selected mode appears directly on the color display, and DeadOn covers a wide A0-C8 detection range. Four dedicated instrument modes Choose Guitar, Bass, Violin or Ukulele to see the detected note and matching string number for your instrument. Chromatic mode Use Chromatic mode for Drop D, open tunings, other alternate tunings, or another compatible pitched instrument. Does DeadOn use rechargeable batteries? Yes. DeadOn charges through USB-C, so there are no disposable coin batteries to replace. A full charge provides 3+ hours of tuning and takes under 1.5 hours. Use the included USB-A to USB-C cable with a standard 5 V USB power source. DeadOn also supports adjustable reference pitch from 410 to 460 Hz and remembers your selected calibration after power-off. USB-C rechargeable Recharge with the included cable instead of buying and replacing coin batteries. Automatic power-off DeadOn switches itself off after 8 minutes without playing or button activity to help preserve battery life. 410-460 Hz calibration Adjust the reference pitch in 1 Hz steps, or hold the Calibration button to return directly to 440 Hz. Your setting stays put: DeadOn remembers the selected reference pitch after it is powered off. Why DeadOn instead of a basic clip-on tuner? DeadOn focuses on the things that matter most while tuning: accuracy, readability, compact size, and rechargeable convenience. ±0.5-cent accuracy Precise enough to dial in each string confidently instead of settling for “close enough.” Bright color display See the note and tuning status clearly at a glance.
