PPRC F55 High Performance Turbo – 1KD & 4JJ1 The PPRC F55 Turbo is designed to deliver strong mid-to-high RPM performance, improved throttle response and efficient boost delivery throughout the rev range. Built for performance-focused 1KD and 4JJ1 diesel engines, the F55 features an upgraded turbine and compressor design, reinforced internal components and an integrated wastegate system to support increased power and torque. Whether you're upgrading your daily-driven 4WD or building a high-performance setup, the PPRC F55 offers the potential for significant performance gains when paired with the right supporting modifications and custom tuning. Key Features High-response turbine wheel – Designed to improve turbo response and performance throughout the rev range. Larger, more efficient compressor wheel – Supports increased airflow and boost efficiency. Upgraded thrust bearings – Designed to handle the additional demands of high-performance applications. 40% stronger main shaft – Reinforced construction for increased strength under higher boost loads. Integrated wastegate system – Assists with boost control and regulation. Design boost pressure: 40 PSI. Operating boost range: 20–45 PSI maximum. Recommended tuning: 35–40 PSI, subject to vehicle setup and supporting modifications. Vehicle Compatibility & Fitment The PPRC F55 Turbo is suitable for selected vehicles fitted with the 1KD and 4JJ1 diesel engines. RC Colorado & Pre-DPF Isuzu D-Max (4JJ1) The F55 is a bolt-on turbo upgrade; however, installation requires modifications to: Oil feed and drain hoses Dump pipe Modified Explorer can supply the additional components required for installation at an extra cost. Toyota Hilux (1KD) The F55 is a bolt-on turbo upgrade with modifications required to: Oil feed and drain hoses Dump pipe Intake pipe Intercooler piping Additional installation components can be supplied by Modified Explorer at an extra cost. Typical Performance: Approximately 180–250 HP Torque figures up to 650 Nm Results vary depending on vehicle model, year, engine condition, tuning and supporting modifications.
