Monitor Audio WL-FH Creator Series Large In Wall Speaker Fire Hood (Each)

The Monitor Audio WL-FH is the fire hood for large Creator Series in-wall speakers, ideal when they form part of a home cinema or dedicated listening room. Recessing a speaker into a fire-rated wall leaves an opening in that barrier, and the WL-FH is designed to reinstate protection around the rear of the speaker. Because it encloses the back of the speaker, it also helps keep sound in the room rather than letting it travel into the space behind. Purpose-Made Fit: Designed by Monitor Audio for its large Creator Series in-wall speakers, rather than adapted from a universal hood. Reinstates Fire Protection: Helps prevent the aperture becoming a route for fire and smoke. Keeps Sound Contained: Reduces sound transmission into the space behind the wall. Supports Bass Performance: Its semi-sealed air volume can contribute to improved bass and dynamics. Compliance in Mind: Designed to meet the relevant UK and EU building regulation requirements.
