Antique giardinetto pendant with diamonds, rubies, emeralds & sapphires in 14ct gold

A highly coveted antique giardinetto pendant dating to the first half of the 20th century and likely Italian or German in origin. The pendant takes the form of a flowering plant, with diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires of various cuts forming the leaves and petals, held in a diamond encrusted amphora. Crafted in 14ct yellow gold with silver details, this sweet giardinetto is a lovely example of its type. Stamped '585' for 14ct gold. Additional stamps to the jump ring and bale are illegible. Weight (approximate): 2.7g Measurements (approximate): Ring head measures 15mm x 14mm. Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age. The gems have small chips visible under magnification and appear to be original to the piece. The gold has light marks and general wear.
