Single Origin Brazil Santos Coffee — Dark Chocolate & Roasted Almond | Souter Bros.
Named after Brazil's historic Port of Santos on the São Paulo coast, Santos coffee has been synonymous with quality and consistency for over a century. Our beans come from the highlands of São Paulo and the adjoining state of Minas Gerais, where small family farms have worked the same rolling red-soiled hillsides for generations.Sitting between 800–1,350 metres above sea level, the cherries ripen slowly in the cool highland air, developing a naturally mild, balanced sweetness. Farmers here use traditional sun-drying methods, laying cherries on raised beds to dry gradually in the Brazilian sunshine — a process that preserves the bean's inherent smoothness and low acidity.Santos coffees are prized the world over for their approachability and consistency. This is the coffee that converted a generation of drinkers — timeless, comforting, and never disappointing.Roast level: Medium-dark | Available in 250g and 1kg bags.THE BROS NOTES:• Aroma: Roasted almonds with warm honey-like undertones.• Flavour: Smooth dark chocolate with a gentle, lingering nuttiness.• Body: Full and silky, with a satisfying weight in the cup.• Acidity: Mellow and approachable — easy on the palate.• Finish: Bold, nutty, and long-lasting.Brew recommendation: Santos shines as an espresso or cafetière, where its full body and low acidity really come into their own. Also excellent as a morning filter for a smooth, no-fuss start to the day.Available in: Whole Bean | French Press | Filter | Espresso
