Introducing the Falcon 18 chassis for the ascent 18! After months of development, this chassis kit can finally be released! Featuring a 13° skid angle, 3 piece rail design, Multiple shock positions, extended wheelbase, 3 electronics mounting locations, forward or rear facing motor options (Front and center electronics tray included), adjustable rear SUV (Scout II) body mount and truck rear body mount. The 13° skid angle and rear link mounting locations allow for improved rear break-over clearance as well as a 15mm extended wheelbase to prevent incline flip-over. We determined that a 3-piece chassis rail design would best accommodate the shock positioning as a straight rail design at skid with of 36mm would cause shock travel binding. The front and rear rail sections have a space width of 25mm as stock, Giving the sharks a straight vertical angle. The multiple shock mounting positions accommodate a variety of shock lengths for fine-tuning your rigs’ ride height and maximize articulation. The chassis wheelbase has been extended 15 mm by adding lower rear link mounts and providing a mounting position for the upper rear links directly on the center chassis rails. The lower rear link mounts are labeled L & R (Left and right) to eliminate confusion while assembling your chassis. Stock wheelbase is also optional simply by mounting the upper and lower rear links to the skid plate and not installing the lower rear link mounts. Provided with this chassis kit are a front battery tray for rear facing motor configuration and a rear electronics tray (Behind the transmission) for forward facing motor configuration. Both electronics trays come with the chassis kit. The side electronics plates allow for your electronics to be mounted as low as possible, and evenly distribute weight. The side plates are designed to resemble wings given this chassis kit name, Falcon as well as the shape of the assembled chassis itself. There are 2 Body mounting options also provided in this chest kit. A rear adjustable SUV body mount has been designed to position rear body height, while using the scout II body.
