45g - 1 standard pot This is a tea to gladden the heart - a naturally decaffeinated black chai, made from fermented organic leaves of the Rosebay Willow Herb, a hearty plant that grows uninvited in hedgerow, field & garden, at Hill Farm. Reaching 5 feet high, with pretty pink flowers, it ruled the tea world from the 12th century, and for many years was Russia's biggest export. Known as Ivan Chai, it was valued immensely for it's superior health properties and was thought to be beneficial to the heart and cardiovascular system. To this Rosebay Willow Herb Chai, we have added Rose Petals & Rosehips , and Hawthorn Flowers, Berries & Leaves - all wild-grown here on our organic farm. (Plus a few flakes of organic Liquorice Root). A hearty tea for you and me!
