Unlike other boxes on the market we don't offer one price for crusty knotty "Mill Run" and an inflated price for "Select" grade containing few or no knots. All Hiveworks boxes are made from high quality lumber with very few knots if any. Any knots in the wood are tight and have been treated with cyanoacrylate glue, filled and sanded. Every box we sell, Standard Hiveworks, or the Hiveworks APEX, can be stained, finished. We treat every box as if it were a piece of furniture. Note**. Boxes are waxed to order. All wax boiling is done on Saturday and finished boxes shipped the following Monday. i.e. A waxed box ordered on Monday will be waxed on Saturday and shipped the following Monday.
