2026 50c Stranger Things - Eleven & Venca 1/2oz Silver Coloured Coin Created by Duffer Brothers, Stranger Things debuted in July 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix' most popular television series ever. Rooted in 80's nostalgia, it has sparked resurgence of pop culture items from the decade with every new season, including Eggo waffles and New Coke. Most recently, the series breathed new life into Kate Bush's track "Running Up That Hill" with the song soaring streams on Spotify and entering the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in its 38-year history. The coin's coloured reverse portrays Venca and Eleven standing side by side, their opposing hands outstretched as they channel their supernatural powers. Both characters are presented on a divided background with vines evoking the eerie presence of the Upside Down. Featured in the design are Eleven's Surfer Boy Pizza glasses and the stained glass rose form the Creel House window. Also included is the 'STRANGER THINGS' logo along with the inscription 'YOUR SUFFERING IS ALMOST AT AN END' and The Perth Mint's 'P' Mintmark. The coin's obverse portrays the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2026 year-date.
