Syrah d’Altitude, Domaine Coudoulet

This Syrah thrives at an altitude of 300 meters, above the village of Cesseras in the hamlet of Fauzan. The geology of this plot differs from the rest of the estate, with limestone soil. The location is superb, with views of the Pyrenees and, on a clear day, the Mediterranean. Vinification is traditional, using stainless steel tanks. The result is a full-bodied wine with notes of blackcurrant and spice.
