The Monthly TBR Subscription A new release read & bookish extras, curated by The Book Room. Treat yourself to a new book every month with The Monthly TBR! Each month, you’ll receive a recently released book, published within the last two months, along with a few bookish extras chosen to make your reading experience even more fun. You’ll select your preferred genre from our available options, and we’ll choose a new release we think readers will love. Books may be either hardcover or paperback depending on the monthly selection. When a paperback is chosen, we’ll include a few extra goodies to make your Monthly TBR feel just as special. Choose Your Genre Pick the reading lane that fits you best each month: Fantasy – magical worlds, epic adventures, romantasy, and everything in between. Romance – swoony love stories that may include spicy/open-door scenes. Historical Fiction – stories set in the past, from sweeping dramas to character-driven reads. Thriller – suspenseful, twisty, page-turning new releases. Young Adult – teen-appropriate YA reads, perfect for younger readers or adults who love YA. Surprise Pick – a top-rated new release from any genre. What’s Included Each Monthly TBR includes: -One new release book, published within the last two months, based on your chosen genre -Bookish goodies that change each month, which may include bookmarks, stickers, mini crafts, notebooks, pens, and other fun extras Monthly Subscription Your subscription renews on the 20th of each month. Orders placed on or before the 20th will receive the following month’s pick. Example: Order by June 20th to receive the July selection. Orders placed after the 20th will receive the next month’s pick. Example: Order after June 20th to receive the August selection. Monthly TBR subscriptions will be ready for pickup on the 5th of each month. Quarterly Subscription Option Prefer a slower-growing TBR? Choose our quarterly option to receive The Monthly TBR every three months instead of every month. You’ll still receive a recently released book based on your chosen genre, plus bookish goodies, just on a seasonal schedule. Quarterly subscribers follow the same schedule as monthly subscribers, but receive a Monthly TBR selection every three months. Orders placed on or before the 20th will begin with the following month’s selection. Orders placed after the 20th will begin with the next subscription cycle. Subscription Changes Customers can log into their account to make changes to their subscription, including switching genres, skipping a month, or canceling. Please make any changes before the 20th of the month to apply them to your next Monthly TBR selection. Changes made after the 20th will apply to the following subscription cycle. Pickup & Shipping Monthly TBR subscriptions will be ready for pickup on the 5th of each month. At checkout, shipping may be automatically selected. Please make sure you select Pick Up at checkout if you plan to pick up your Monthly TBR at The Book Room. This subscription is meant for local pickup. If shipping is selected, shipping charges will apply. Book Swaps, Returns, and Refunds The Monthly TBR is meant to be a fun surprise, so the selected book will not be revealed ahead of pickup. If you already own the book, you may swap it in-store on the day you pick up your Monthly TBR for another book of the same value. Once the book leaves the store, it can no longer be swapped. Monthly TBR subscriptions are not eligible for refunds. Content Note Adult genre selections may occasionally include mature themes or content. Romance selections may include spicy/open-door scenes. Young Adult selections will be chosen with teen-appropriate content in mind.
