101 - Sewing Machine: Tote Bag - Wednesday, July 15th, 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Befriending your sewing machine has never been easier! Whether you haven’t sewn since grade school or have never touched a machine in your life, our Sewing 101 classes will help you get comfortable and confident with a sewing machine! Once you’ve become acquainted with the ins and outs of threading and stitching, you will apply these skills to construct a reversible tote bag. Not only will you impress your friends with your handmade project, you will have the skills to make many more! Age: Adult Time: 3 hours, 1 session Skill level: Beginner Prerequisites: None Skills Learned: Sewing machine basics (threading, winding a bobbin, backstitching, etc.) Basic construction + terminology Good practices for sewing To join one of our classes, please call us at 604-879-3031 to place your deposit and reserve your spot! Our classes sell out quickly and we accept registration over the phone with a credit card, or stop by our shop to pay in person.
