Esun Polycarbonate PC-HT Filament
Description eSUN PC-HT (High-Temperature Polycarbonate) is formulated specifically for demanding applications that require structural integrity under extreme heat and mechanical stress. While maintaining the high impact resistance and structural toughness of classic polycarbonate, PC-HT features an advanced chemical formula that boosts its heat deflection threshold well past 100°C. Unlike older PC blends that are notoriously prone to extreme warp, delamination, and stringing, eSUN PC-HT is modified to exhibit improved layer-to-layer bonding cohesion and reduced shrinkage. It is an optimal engineering filament for functional parts, load-bearing mechanical elements, machinery brackets, and high-heat electronics enclosures. Features High-Temperature Deflection: Boasts a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 113°C, allowing parts to maintain structural stiffness in environments that cause standard PLA, PETG, and ABS to warp or sag. Engineering-Grade Tensile Toughness: Delivers a high tensile strength of approximately 67Mpa in the XY axis, providing massive structural resistance against cracking and impact shocks. Enhanced Printing Stability: Engineered for low warping and minimized stringing compared to raw polycarbonate, allowing for more precise dimensions on large technical prints. High-Speed Compatibility: The modified melt flow index lets the filament melt smoothly and evenly, supporting high-velocity printing profiles up to 200mm/s on modern CoreXY printers. Chemical Resistance: Offers solid baseline resilience against mild environmental chemicals, vehicular oils, and grease. Specifications Material: High-Temperature Modified Polycarbonate (PC-HT) Filament Diameter: 1.75mm Weight: 1kg Printing Temperature: 280-310°C Safety Precautions Always print in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing the fumes while printing. Do not touch the nozzle, heated bed, or printed object right after printing — let it cool down first before handling. Keep the printer and filament away from children and pets. Unplug the printer when not in use. Store the filament in a cool, dry place to avoid moisture. Wear gloves and a mask when sanding, cutting, or handling printed parts. Keep away from open flames — most filaments are flammable. Polycarbonate (PC) Can give off unpleasant fumes — always use ventilation. Avoid breathing the smoke from overheated prints. Allow parts to cool before handling.
