2024 Michal Vineyard Russian River Chardonnay

Produced from our estate vineyard, this is a coastal-style expression of Michal Vineyard shaped by the cool Sebastopol Hills and our minimal intervention approach. Whole clusters were hand picked and pressed directly, fermented slowly with native yeasts, and aged for eleven months in neutral French oak. Bright, restrained, and finely textured, it offers freshness, quiet complexity, and a stony mineral character that clearly showcases the site's terroir. Tasting Notes: The wine opens with lifted aromas of lemon peel, white flowers, and green apple, with subtle notes of wet stone and coastal air. On the palate, the wine is bright and finely textured, with flavors of citrus, green apple, and ripe pear layered over a gentle mineral backbone. Its natural acidity and restrained style carry through to a long, clean finish, giving the wine both precision and elegance.
