About the Artist: Eight Elian-James Showell (AKA, Eight) is a non-binary tattoo artist, author, tarot reader, and graphic designer who has called Missoula home since 2014. Formerly an architect in NYC and Philadelphia, Eight’s visual art brilliantly blends masculine and feminine energies, contrasting dark, moody blacks with powerful exhibits of color.
