Saint Stephen mounted icon

In 2021 I was asked by Bishop John, our bishop of the Worcester and New England Antiochian Diocese, to create a series of icons for our Western Rite parish, St. Stephen in Western Massachusetts. He’d seen my Christian picture book The Nativity and felt I was equal to the task. I’ve been an Orthodox Christian for 40+ years now, and have studied the art of different traditions of iconography. It has been a privilege and honor to write icons for my parish. I am hoping to work on more in the future. St Stephen the First Martyr was the first icon I “wrote.” The 4×6″ laminated print icon is mounted on a 5x7x3/4″ painted wooden plaque. Also available as a laminated print with a short bio and prayer on the back.
