Landscapes from a train

These small silkscreen prints on paper began life as a series of photographs taken from a train between London and Crewe on a misty December morning. The series explores landscape as a site of quiet observation and reflection. Devoid of human presence, the series is concerned with atmosphere rather than description, aiming to capture a fleeting sense or feeling - capturing the transient beauty in our surroundings.
