We are delighted to collaborate with The Yorkshire Museum in helping to preserve the amazing archeological find in the village of Melsonby just up the road from our Aske site. Step back 2,000 years and discover a taste of Yorkshire’s past… reimagined in chocolate. Inspired by one of the most extraordinary archaeological discoveries in the UK, the Melsonby Hoard is a remarkable collection of over 800 Iron Age artefacts – from chariot wheels and ceremonial spears to ornate cauldrons and horse harnesses . Unearthed just a stone’s throw from Richmond in the small village of Melsonby, this incredible find is helping to rewrite the story of life, power and wealth in ancient Yorkshire.
