2.45ct Deep Red Whisky Zircon and Diamond RIng, 9ct Yellow Gold, size L or 5.75, 2.33g

Zircons have the most phenomenal fire, and when it is in a deep and brooding reddy brown stone like this, it burns deep like an autumnal fire. That warmth that you huddle round, that rich whisky that you sip on to warm the cockles after a long cold day. This fabulous zircon is sumptuous and warm and we love it against the yellow claws and vintage rhodium set trilogy of side stones on each side. As a natural stone - zircons are less well known - and we think that is such a shame. These magical fire filled stones are one of the sparkliest and oldest natural stones on the planet. These stones formed before the dinosaurs were around - some even billions of years old and dated back to the big bang. This vintage ring is a lovely chunky example from when gold was less pricey and we love the simplicity and elegance of style that this vintage (at least 50 years old based on those trusty hallmarks) ring offers. Please be aware zircons are 7 on the Mohs Scale and will scratch over time. Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear. Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new.
